I was just thinking that, having seen Taxi Driver for the umpteenth time the other night.

I thought he was great in Taxi Driver, Ronin, Casino, and The King of Comedy (he has a very good comedic presence).

He was real good in Casino, wasn'he? He was in a movie with Meryl Streep, where they played people who were married to other people, but had an affair. I can't remember the name of the pic, but it was poignant.

5. Casino is one of my favourite movies ever.

I consider it to be one of the last Hollywood "epics". Every scene in that movie is bigger than life. DeMille would have been proud!

7. When I was in college, I interned as a script reader for a producer who is

a good friend of DeNiro. He called done day and was very polite, friendly and nice. He asked abut my day, what I did and if I'd read anything half-way decent in a while. It was a great experience!
