Practical Star Ship piloting question
When you're piloting a Star Ship through an unknown energy field should you really reach behind you to hold the yeoman's hand?

(Watching "Where no man has gone before" on TV Land.

Great ep but I have to wonder about that pilot. :)

5. Oh!
I only vaguely remember that one.

Sally Kellerman was in that too, wasn't she?

6. Yup that's the one
She was the "Walking refrigerator unit" psychologist that ended up with the same powers as Lt Mitchel.

And hey I'm all for letting them (Mitchel and Smith) have their fun but come on there's a time and a place. :)

7. Supposedly, there's an episode
in which we get a brief glimpse of Kirk's boots in Rand's cabin.

I never saw it, though.

4. They were shockingly unprofessional in those days
Lots of gasping and shrieking women clinging to handsome male crew members. :puke:

8. They always had such great names for their episodes.
One of my favs was “For the World Is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky.”

10. No, you shouldn't.
You really should be keeping an eye on your warp potential and one hand on the frent control.

11. Are these "hi tech" effects bad or what?
What the hell, I'm having a pretty dull Saturday night, so this is amusing. It definitely calls for opening
a bottle of vino, though.

cheers

13. It shows the brilliance of the show
the stories hold up even with the low quality of the effects (although that's not fully fair, given the FX tech of the times they did a good job)
