1. St. Pierre- is that the black guy with the elbows? |
|
If it's the same guy, he absolutely beats the shit out of people.

2. You're probably thinking of middleweight David "The Crow" Louseau |
|
George St. Pierre is a Canadian welterweight. Ironically enough, The Crow was in his corner tonight!

5. I remember seeing St. Pierre, too- he uses the elbows as well, right? |
|
I'm not surprised that he won at all. I'd like to see him and Louseau, though....

8. St. Pierre does use the elbows, especially last night! |

He floored Hughes with a head kick and then started laying in punches, followed by a series of brutal elbows that ended the fight. St. Pierre was totally dominant last night.

6. Oh- I'd also like to say that I absolutely HATE Matt Hughes. |
|
So, good. I'm glad he got his ass kicked.

3. What a performance by St. Pierre! |
|
High head kick, followed by a ground and pound. He would have beaten Hughes in the first round if Hughes hadn't been saved by the bell. I don't think anybody expected St. Pierre to win that quickly, especially by TKO! The heavyweight match was disappointing, even though I was impressed by how versatile Tim Sylvia was. I think Monson got frustrated early and seemed to be beaten mentally. But did you see how Monson powered out of Sylvia's attempt at the American lock? Monson is a powerhouse!

4. Dude! That is a brutal spoiler for me. |

I've spent ALL freakin day avoiding any and all MMA sites. I'm literally 5 minutes away from watching it and you nail me in the DU Lounge!
You should strongly consider editing your subject heading, if it's still possible.
Man, I'm so bummed.
