22. Yes...it's called "aging". We all go through it.
Even me. Even you.

I think both Richard Benjamin and Paula Prentiss look wonderful in that pic. And besides celebrating Paula Prentiss, Richard Benjamin became a pretty damn decent director. He directed one of my very favorite films, "My Favorite Year".

9. Spring break in Ft. Lauderdale back in the early 60's....
Didn't "Tuggle" hook up with Jim Hutton? Good cast overall....Frank Gorshin, Connie Francis, George Hamilton, Yvette Mimeux, and Delores Hart who gave up Hollywood to become a cloistered nun. Imagine that happening today.

12. Delores Hart was drop. dead. gorgeous
The perfect ingenue.

Yeah, she hooked up with Jim Hutton — "T.V."

Connie Francis had it goin' on, too. I couldn't understand why she was the "big girl" in that movie.

Some decent jazz by Gorshin's group, too.

As far as I know, she still is.

29. I just saw a segment about her on a news show not too long ago
She was honored in Hollywood for something. I never knew who she was, but I was very intrigued by the story.

14. Yes.
As a kid I thought she and her husband were two of the funniest people on earth. They had a sitcom on CBS (I think) called He & She.

16. That's the first thing I thought of when I saw this thread.
The original wonderful "The Stepford Wives" as opposed to the crappy, pointless remake. Paula Prentiss was wonderful in the original "Stepford"

Is that image edited? If not, what drugs did Laura ingest prior to the photo?

Both Prince Charles and our first lady really do look like that.

23. I don't know...I think the remake tried too hard to be campy.
While the original was the real thing. :-)

Just my take...

26. I guess I wanted to like the remake more.
But I didn't. It had a great cast...Nicole Kidman, Bette Midler, Matthew Broderick. Script by Paul Rudnick. But...like I said, it just tried too hard.

Ah, well.

:toast:

28. I had a crush on her when I was a kid
She was in a short-lived sitcom called "He & She" and while I enjoyed the show I didn't think it made sense that such a beautiful woman would be married to a schmuck like Richard Benjamin.
