WHO wants to come do my dishes?
And feed the kitties, give one an insulin shot, finish the laundry, feed the sugar glider, clean out the catbox, clean up the bathroom and straighten up the house?

Anyone?

Anyone?

Bodhi will give you a kiss if you do!

1. Sorry, I've got all that crap to do at my house, too!
Good luck, though. :hi: Bodhi is adorable, btw! Cool name. Short for "Boddhisatva" ?

3. Bodhi is his full name - but it is certainly related to Bodhisatva!
Here's another:

7. Cool - Leos and Aries are supposed to be 2 of the signs that get along the best.
I can definitely see that, from the Aries people I have in my life.

29. Well, they can all get along, depends on a lot of other things besides the sun sign, obviously
but yes, I'm married to a Sagittarius, the other fire sign. :D

As a general rule, people of the same astrological sun sign element tend to get along b/c they can relate to each other's basic natures...sometimes, but not always.

My Dad's a Pisces and my Mom is a Scorpio, both water signs. They were only married 6 yrs, before divorcing. LOL.

2. Wanna come fix my toilet?
Edited on Sun Nov-19-06 09:32 PM by GOPisEvil
At times like this, I'm glad I have two bathrooms.

Plus, I did one load of dishes, four loads of laundry, cooked lunch and went to the gym today. :whew:

Oh, I'll play with Bodhi though. I haven't played with a dog in years.

4. I'd MUCH rather fix the toilet.
Seriously.

And the dog would always be happy with MORE attention. He's a bit of an attention whore without realizing it. He has a bit of a fan club around here.

8. The toilet just needs a new flapper.
It's a pretty simple fix. In fact, if I'd just stop goofing off and get to it, I'd be done in minutes. But, I really need a sponge to get all the water out of the tank, and I'm fresh out. So, I'll let it dry out while I'm at work and finish it up tomorrow.

Would that make him an attention hound, then? :rimshot:

I apologize for that. :spank:

13. Can I wrangle some yard work out of you, too?
My yard's really small. This should be the last mow of the year.

15. No problem. I also love doing yardwork!
When I don't have a house full of work that also needs doing.

22. Yeah, well, if it were easy, anyone could do it.
It's the hard that makes it great.

OK, I'm using "A League Of Their Own" for inspiration. Clearly, this is an issue of some importance.

5. I have to clean up the house before my neat freak roommates get home on
Wednesday.

I hope they don't get home before then , I always tell them call me before you get home.

If it wasn't for my roommates I would need the show Cleanhouse.

Great looking dog there.

9. I hear ya.
I LOVE living alone, but it comes with drawbacks. No one else to help mow the yard, do the dishes, pay the bills, clean the bathroom, etc.

Thanks RE: the dog. I lurve him.

pretty routine,

Except, what is a sugar glider?

18. LOL - point taken.
Thankfully, they're not that bad and there are not that many. I just HATE doing dishes because standing in one place at the sink really kills my back, and because I'm so picky about how I wash them it takes me 10x longer than a normal person.

24. Get a smaller drying rack
you can only do half the dishes at once that way. It'll save your back, and you'll be 'done' just about the same time you're getting sick of doing them.

Works for me!

Sure, I can come over and take care of things. I've had a cat with diabetes, and can clean houses ok.

What do I get in return?

You've already had a mandate - what MORE do you need?

:)

And Bodhi is a sweet dog. And very well behaved!

32. I was horrified at the thought of having to do the injections -
I figured I'd get him once, and from then on I'd never find him again in order to give him a shot. Those kittis are GOOD at hiding when they don't want to be found. Luckily I worried for nothing - it's cake. I call him and he comes RUNNING. Gotta love that!

Nice seeing you again!
