6. Frack!
I'm sadly disappointed. That is going to taint my enjoyment of Seinfeld reruns for a long time if not permanently.

Of course that's just a selfish initial reaction, I know it's much more hurtful to others first of course the targets of his tirade.

31. Hell, they paid their money...
...So they wanted to see the show. I'll bet at leats SOME of them thought this was somehow part of the act-- you know, like when an actor has a heart attack on-stage during a play and collapses, and the other actors come out and yell, "Is there a doctor in the house!?" And they start thumping the actor's chest, giving him CPR, and someone rushes up from the audience...and still you have people sitting there afterwards going, "Gee, I thought it was part of the play!"

It's probably like that. At least for some of 'em.

Mark Kramer, formerly of Bongwater, Shockabilly, and the Butthole Surfers. Produced King Missile and Dogbowl, did an album with Penn Jillette.

32. I've seen the video of Hicks heckled...
...and as you say, Richards ain't no Hicks. But he never WAS! Nor was he Lenny Bruce. These cats took stand-up to the level of genius because they were rebels and visionaries with great hearts who were trying to cut to the bone about humanity and human nature, and courted controversy to do so. And Richard Pryor, obviously, did the same, and there were others. Not many.

51. I heard it was recorded on a cell phone
I'd like to know what kind of phone. I tried to record Clinton when he was in St Louis for a Claire McCaskill rally and it didn't take. I have a Treo 650 with a 1gb card.

I saw the video on Keith Olbermann's show and it sickened me to see someone act like that. He certainly has anger issues.

34. Anyone remember Richards from "Fridays"?...
...A "Saturday Night Live" wanna-be show from, I think, the late '70s/early '80s? Richards was part of the cast, and there's some great footage available from when Andy Kaufman guested and did his "Andy" thing, and it totally threw off the rest of the cast, but most of all Richards, who got so pissed that he actually stormed off the set. Worth watching. Bottom line: Richards has some anger-management issues!

A kid playing with toy soldiers in his back yard. He'd set 'em on fire, have the dinosaur eat 'em, stuff like that.

I shall not play amateur psychologist on this one. But it's tempting.

That's a film clip that should have never been put on television.

It didn't do his career any good, but
Public apology
Rehab
Donations to some well-thought-of bigwigs
Public acceptance of apology by some well-thought-of bigwigs

His publicists are working on it, I'm sure

He'll come out ok.

37. Whatever those guys said to him...
...was no excuse for going off the way he did. He's supposed to be a professional. If you can't stand the heat, and all that. He's obviously got some unresolved issues about the lack of a career he's had since Seinfeld. He thought it was lacking before?

42. That's quite disturbing
He's a talented man, and he's supposed to be a professional. Absolutely no excuse for this.

BTW, I always thought the supporting actors on "Seinfeld", i.e. Michael Richards, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Jason Alexander had much more talent than Jerry Seinfeld himself. I like Jerry, but I think the "other 3" helped to make that show. Agree/disagree?

43. Agreed, I always thought
Julia and Jason made the show because they where the backbones just do to their interaction with Jerry and Kramer, I think Jerry knows this and that's why you won't see him doing any other acting in the future because they complement what acting talent he had big time.
