It is going cold tonight here, in the 30's . |
|
This is good maybe the cold will kill off the some of the bugs.
I will need to wrap up some plants tonight.
I can smell the woodsmoke, any one else have some kind of wood burning stove.
I think I will make some soup on top of the wood burning stove like Grandma did.

That's a perfect image, smelling woodsmoke and making soup. Things like that make me happy to be alive. :D

in Michigan today. It's been quite cold for a few weeks now. We have a wood burning stove, a Lennox. I just LOVE a nice hot fire. Cold nights, roaring fire a nice hot drink .. the smell of woodsmoke is lovely. I have a cast iron pot and I love to make soup on the stove.

4. This is the first time I will be using the stove this season, it is all checked out. |
|
I was just waiting for it to be cold enough for me.
My roommates would have had the heat a long time ago.
I just put on some sweats.
Our winters , what passes for winters are so mild that a big stove would be overkill.
Now if I lived out in the country that would different.
