Some questions about spamming. |
|
I'm using the free version of incredimail. It has no spam filter, as such. I can block sender and 'bounce to sender'. Supposedly this kicks the email back to the sender as if my e-mail address is invalid. But I notice all the ones I bounce come back to me as undeliverable.
So, is it doing any good to bounce? Apparently not.
Also, everyday I get several identical spams coming from different names. Same subject line and message, just different 'senders'. What's up with that.
And finally, it would seem to me that nobody buys anything from spammers so why don't they go away? Why do they persist? Thanks.

many spammers spoof the address they send from. bouncing the spam does nothing to them, and just clogs your email with 'undeliverable' notices.

2. Thanks. As I suspected. |
