Best Jazz Club on the West Coast
For consistent and regular booking of top tier acts in conjunction with acoustics and atmosphere: My vote,

Yoshi's --Oakland, Jack London Square

Any other nominees? East Coasters and heartland people please chime in with your fave jazz spot.

1. The Catalina Bar & Grill and The Baked Potato in LA.
Both consistently good. McCabe's Guitar Shop for the eclectic stuff.

3. A second vote for Yoshi's
and a public tip of the hat to KCSM (91.1), without whom I would never have found Yoshi's.

4. Yes, Yoshi's is fantastic
I like to go to dinner there, to have reserved seats for the 10:30 show. The Restaurant has ok Japanese Food. It could be better. But the "room" makes up for it. I saw Gary Burton this summer. His band was awesome.

5. Oh, good grief, Yoshi's - hands down
Saw Cedar Walton there last week - with Vincent Herring (sax) and Steve Turre (trombone) sitting in.

Fabulous.

6. Yoshi's. No doubt.
Word is they're going to build one in the Fillmore as part of the renovation project.
