Can I combine bandwidth of separate wired and wireless signals? |
|
Here's the idea...if I have a dedicated ethernet connection, but can also get an unrelated wireless signal in the same location, can I use the combined power of both at the same time? (That is, will I still get the wireless bandwidth when I plug in the wired connection?)
BTW, I would have posted this in the computer forum, but this gets more traffic. :)

1. Not the way you mean ... |

The way I'm parsing this, you seem to be asking if you'll get the combined bandwidth of both connections, as though they were one connection, e.g. the wired connection is 3Mb/s, and the wireless is 3Mb/s, resulting in a 6Mb/s connection. No.
If that's not what you're asking, then please clarify.
P.S. I would have seen this an hour and a half ago in the Computer forum. :-)
