There's never, ever been anybody like Brother Theodore, and one of my great regrets is that I never saw him at one of his legendary one-man ranting shows in NYC while he was still alive. He lived a helluva life:

1. He was fascinating and spooky!

And I only saw him on TV. Imagine seeing him live!

I think he was way over my head. (I was about 14 at the time.)

And that's the only place I ever knew him from.

Was he really insane as he seemed, or was it only an act?
