Paw traps..makes me want to punch something |
|
I was at my son's new house yesterday just as it was getting dark and we noticed his neighbor man and little boy were over on his property that borders the river. My son had told me he'd seen a sickly looking raccoon there that morning but decided to not go near it. He rushed my granddaughter and I home so he could go speak with his new neighbor.
Turns out that the poor sickly looking creature had been suffering because it was stuck in one of his neighbor's paw traps.
Now I know why the raccoon that we had to call the cops to take care of a few years ago, had a paw that looked like mincemeat.
Did I mention this same neighbor had a dead raccoon hanging from a rope in a tree just last week? My poor DIL was so upset she couldn't even do her dishes since the neighbor's tree was clearly visible from her kitchen window.
*SCREAM* God damn idiots that use paw traps.

2. I can't believe it's allowed in town |

These are 60ft wide lots in a small town. Any animal, cat, dog, kid could get stuck in one of those things. I'm just glad we didn't take care of the leaves down by the river..or it might have been one of us. My son told his neighbor he didn't want the traps near his property again. The neighbor told him the coon drug the trap there.
Nice way for him to meet his new neighbor.
