3. I'm not but my Dad was. He broke his jaw at work, long story,
and he had it set without novacaine. He always said it was the worst pain he ever experienced in his life.

4. Yup, found out when I was 12
I was getting my first filling. The novacaine didnt work at first, so the dentist gave me another shot. That didnt work either. I ended up breaking a lot of blood vessles in my cheek and having a bruised face for days.

5. Not allergic, but I don't react well to it.
I really hate having to have it - chills, racing heart, I feel sick for hours after having it. Yuck.

6. YES! That's what happened to me...with vomiting.
I had 4 shots of novacaine yesterday. I have a call in to the dentist.

Feeling better now.

7. Ugh - four shots is a lot
You must have had quite a bit of work done. I would definitely talk to your dentist about alternatives in the future. I hope you feel better and that maybe you can rest a little today. Take care.
