"A Scanner Darkly"...who's seen it?
I missed it in the theaters, and wanted so to see it.

In the process now of dropping my friends some low-cost b'day gift ideas, aka DVDs....

Thanks in advance for your advice. :hi:

1. Richard Linklater is my favorite director, and this movie did not dissapoint

in the least. It's great. I don't get people who don't love Linklater, it's mindblowing, I don't know why he isn't more univerally praised atleast as much as the likes of Paul Thomas and/or Wes Anderson.

You could remove the amazing dialogue or the amazing visuals and still enjoy each on their own merrits, combined it's like eating your favorite food or drinking your favorite drink for the first time.

5. The pink beam of light would not approve of the lust in your heart.
Or maybe it would. The pink beam is often confused. Or are you confused?

7. I saw it in the theater. Thought it was great.
Probably the best adaptation of a PKDick work yet. (And, yes, that includes Blade Runner...)
