5. I wouldn't, but someone else might. |

It IS a gadget that takes up space, which may or may not be an issue.
I think a better idea would be a gift certificate to a masseuse or to a spa.

2 years back, I bought her a day at a spa with the works - massage, facial, etc. She didn't want to do it and ended up giving it away to my mom.

6. It actually kind of creeps me out. |
|
But then I would always rather get a human massage than a mechanical one.

9. Well, I would enjoy it but I would prefer a gift of |

massage oil with a promise of a few foot massages.

I tried a demo unit at Brookstone in the mall after a day in heels and it was like heaven for my achy feet. Better than a masseuse because it is available 24/7, never gets too tired, and will probably pay for itself over time as compared to an equal number of trips to a masseuse.
Seriously, if I had one of those things I would use it every day.

12. no i wouldn't use it and it would take up space |
|
i know i'm on the odd side but i may be a little like your wife because i am also one that doesn't like "day spa" and "massage day" gifts, oh, i do force myself to use them in case i might learn something but i just hate people fussing over me and in any case i do not feel that professional massage therapists use the right amount (enough) pressure
now a personal hands-on massage from the hubster, yes, that is something i always enjoy
