I just have to vent/rant............

Ahem - My hubby is doing his nightly 'clean-up' routine in his bathroom when I hear an "OH SHIT".
(For those who don't know - he's battling cancer - has difficulty eating and has a PEG in place).
Well - seems he has just cut his feeding tube and every time he bends over (how can I say this delicately?)
stomach contents are spurting out all over the bathroom. We just had this feeding tube replaced a couple of months ago. Our Gastroenterologist is going to kill us. I don't know how many of these he's had replaced in the past 4 years. And he's supposed to have chemo tomorrow. He's EVIL on his G-Tubes. I don't know what I'm going to do with him. Now that I've cleaned up the bathroom - gave him a new set of PJ's to put on and started the laundry it's time to go to bed and I'm all riled up.

I swear - every friggin' day feels like a 'Seinfeld' episode around here. It's midnight - there's no way in hell he can have his PEG replaced before next week. What am I going to DO WITH THIS MAN????????

3. Nah - I'm not ......

you have to play the cards you're dealt. Poor hubby - he's always doing something - this is so typical HIM. Now his feeding tube is approximately 3" long instead of the usual 10".
I swear - our Dr. is going to have a fit when we call her (yet)
again. I'll let her have her Thanksgiving uninterrupted and call on Monday.
Sheesh.

I couldn't believe he did it! I wanted to yell "WHY DID YOU DO THAT" - but of course, it wasn't on purpose. God knows the man has enough to deal with. In retrospect - it's just another day here at the homestead.

13. We're going to the cancer ctr. today for his chemo treatment.

We'll be seeing people there who are literally on their last legs. At least I know I still have time with him. (Unless I hit him with a frying pan first!!). :evilgrin:
