2. No
I do all my shopping on the net and what I can't find, I give the person cash.

I can't deal with those crowds of people, they freak me out.

6. Hell No!
I would rather stick a fork in my eye while gargling liquefied chicken manure and walking barefoot over flaming shards of broken glass than go to a mall this weekend.

Christmas shopping is the reason Al Gore invented the Internet.

So, no. :scared:

(Hi, my friend! I don't like to shop _at all_ unless I can do it with someone fun. Would love to have you, xchrom, Oedi, CMW and some of my DU gfs to accompany in Zurich or Milan for Christmas shopping. x( Damn the distance.)

8. Depends on the early bird sales
If Best Buy or Circuit City does the annual massive reduction in high end TVs and/or laptops, I'll probably be out to get one. Otherwise, hell no.

9. i LOVE the day after thanksgiving sales...
nothing screams "Happy Holidays" like grandma getting an elbow in the throat as she claws her way over a stack of bodies to clutch the very last TMX Elmo in her wizened grip.

11. Will you be going to Macy's? 'Cause if you are, you're in for a shock.
Do you remember how beautiful Marshall Field's used to be during the Holiday Season.

Well now it looks like Montgomery Wards.

Thanks a lot, Macy. :(

30. Macy's is a scourge upon the mall. I used to love Kaufmann's,
but totally hate Macy's.

Not only are their decorations crappy, so are their sales.

12. Yes, sort of
We're doing the family Thanksgiving thing tomorrow, going our separate ways for Friday which will allow me to do more unpacking, and possibly even get some Christmas decorating done.

On Saturday the whole family is coming over here to see my new place and then we're going out for lunch at the new "lifestyle center" aka upscale outdoor shopping mall. My mother and middle brother will stick around for a while while the other brother, his wife and kids will take off. We'll then do a bit of browsing at L.L. Bean before they head home.

17. Yeah, but avoiding the mall
Going out of town this weekend and we're going to hit the used book/record stores.

And hopefully the thrift stores and maybe an antique shop or two, but really just to browse.

Don't have a whole lot of $$ to shop with, but I love to hit the used bookstores.

22. Absolutely not. I'd rather eat a bug. I'll finish up in NOLA in
a few days. I refuse to deal with the crowds and people fighting over whatever the new "in" item is.

Plus, my gifts aren't actually Christmas presents. I don't celebrate Christmas; I just like an excuse to get things for people I love.
