Stores are going to be open early on Friday so that people can shop before they go to work...
What a marvelous idea...
I hear JC Penny is going to open the doors at 5:00 AM...
What genius...
Now those of us who have to work for a living can beat the holiday rush and shop early...
Thank you JC Penny for being user friendly...

4. But that's the genius of the plan... |
|
No one will ever get up that early to go shopping except those who can stop in on their way to work...

I plan to be in bed both those times......
In fact, I plan to do the vast majority of my shopping via catalog!
5:00 AM? :scared:

6. It's not for people who have to work, it's for people who think shopping is a full contact sport. |
|
I have to be at work at five to deal with this crap, I'm getting paid to be there and I'd still much rather sleep in. But a small hoarde of consumerists addicted to cheap plastic crap will be lined up outside my store before I even drag my tired ass out of bed, not because they have to be there, but because they are willing to line up in a suburban parking lot hours before sunup just to save a couple of bucks on stuff they never needed anyhow.
