Biologists and thanksgiving enthusiasts: a new bird!
Edited on Thu Nov-23-06 02:36 AM by gkdmaths
Announcing the most recent addition to the current line of transgenic GFP-labelled laboratory models: the thanksgiving turkey. a few collaborators and myself have been working on this thanksgiving prank for a few months now, and today the bird was cooked in the autoclave on two 30-minute dry gravity cycles. Stuffing had been innoculated with E. coli 0157:H7 and 0157:H1 with GFP and RFP plasmids, respectively.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING from the laboratory.
