Listen Up: HoneyBaked Hams & Turkeys Recalled (Listeria!)
I posted this in breaking news and am risking doing a dupe post in order to warn y'all -- in case you're planning to serve either of these products for Thanksgiving. 500 people a year die from listeriosis. Can be very dangerous for people with compromised immune systems or if pregnant.

The notice didn't go out till Wednesday night.

Sorry to put a damper on the fun conversation here, but I don't want any of you to get sick. These products are sold on-line, via catalogs, and in retail outlets.
