My aunts used to raise and compete Quarter Horses at the State Fair. Where my Dad's front yard is now used to be the riding ring.

And it was cool at the house I sold a few yrs ago being next to some riding stables. Helped fit the spirit of Derby parties! :D

The shelf cloud came in so fast that my nephew almost missed the shot as there was no place to pull over. I've seen shelf clouds in the past, but never one so low and right on top of the houses like that. :scared:

He chased a year ago during a November outbreak and footage of a Kansas tornado was used on CNN and the Weather Channel. He's an addict. :)
