Do your kids like to hunt up and sneak a peek at their x-mas presents? |
|
For years, when my son was growing up, if he was left in the house alone, he would find his x-mas presents and, even if they were already wrapped, he would unwrap them and check them out. Until I did this: I would wrap his gifts as soon as I bought them and then put a tag on them with someone else's name on it. I would put a little mark somewhere on the gift so I wouldn't get confused about which gift was what. Then on Christmas Eve I would change the tags before I put the gifts under the tree. Poor kid--he never caught on to this little trick. Worked like a charm though.

I was very curious as a child... I remember even finding the receipt to the old Mattel Intellivision that my parents were swearing was too expensive for them to buy for us.
And, my 3 year old daughter already found a couple of books we had gotten her that were supposed to be XMas gifts. She told us that Santa must have put them in our bag.
