Yay! The snow advisory for my area was cancelled! |
|
And replaced with a "Snow and Blowing Snow Advisory".

1. I don't miss snow at all |
|
When I moved to California from Vermont, I wondered if I would but in 7 years, I haven't. Every few years, we get a couple of inches and that's kind of fun but I don't miss blankets of snow. If I want snow, I can drive to it. It's about 4 hours away.
Not that I really minded snow, either. But it can be a pain when you have to deal with it every day.

But then again, I'm not in the mountains like you. I can SEE it on Mt. Diablo, but that's as close as it gets.
Snow fall was fun when you could just hole up in the house and watch it. A bit of a pain if driving or commuting in the city.

3. I think I will miss it eventually |

I find myself thinking more fondly of it every year. Even shoveling snow and splitting firewood are things that have a certain amount of enjoying in them.
Probably about the ten year mark, it will be time to move back to Vermont for a bit.
