13. I wish, auntieA!!
It's just a couple of errands, and the later I wait, the colder it gets.

I'll come home and make something nice and warm for myself, maybe some hot cocoa. I've already had supper...shouldn't have, because there's a Harvey's on the way...:D

I'm not doing too badly, still snivelly - I had a wrong number wish me well in getting over my cold.

How are you? :loveya:

28. You're a sweetheart
and a great friend. :loveya:

Zoiks, the roads are treacherous out there! It's like a giant skating rink. Lots of snow, it warmed up, and the temperatures plummeted within a day. Roads are now frozen, and with this new snowfall - literally, in the past 3 hours -:scared: :scared: :scared:

I think the bears got it right.

...well, I didn't want to be presumptuous. Of course I'll tag along. The fireplace has a lousy sense of direction. He'd get lost. :silly:

8. It was close to 80 degrees here today, and we ate outside.
I don't want to go north again, unless to visit, an for a very short time.

Minus the buzz.

Know what I had to eat today, Thanksgiving Day, 2006?

A handful of Pringles and a sugar-free pudding cup.

Are you jealous? LOL

23. Don't be sorry.
All in all, I feel really good. (and I don't eat turkey!)

I unexpectedly ended up with even more to be thankful for today!

(and I could have cooked something up a bit more appetizing had I had any motivation to do so)

21. It is pretty.
And thankfully not that cold.

The bad part is that the house I'm currently renting has a view sullied by surrounding neighbors using their property as junkyards. So, it could be prettier.

24. Very nice.
We built an entire room onto our house really just so we could have a fireplace in it for nights like this.

Curiously, there's no snow here at all, and I'm up in Canada, eh?

You're all going to have to go live in the mall if this keeps up. But here in Winnipeg? Barren! Nary a flake. Very unusual.

26. I think this was the warmest we have ever been here on T-day...
Doors open all day - I think it was almost 90 on the sunny porch...but I have to say your snow looks BEAUTIFUL! I wouldn't mind the moisture of 4 to 6 inches of snow right now.

29. Nyah, nyah!
It's only -14 here! Not snowing much either.

I saw an odd sight today, I passed a car, mostly covered with snow, with Florida plates. Bad roads too. Poor guy was prolly thinking, WTF?

I have a fireplace anyway, well, sort of, it's a gas one. It's fun to turn it on just to see the cats come running, then watch as they roast themselves almost to the point of smelling burnt fur.

32. Zowie! That's what we should be looking at...
however, our last three days have been in the '50's. I'm thrilled since I was able to finish painting the front of my house.

Please send that weather our way in December, OK?
