Edited on Thu Nov-23-06 11:42 PM by bertha katzenengel
I just found a mofo TICK crawling up my arm. eeeeewwwww! :scared: And I have pulled them off of a couple of cats this week. All of the cats were treated with Revolution last week.
WTF is going on?! It was FREEZING here for like three nights in a row! WHEN are the fuckers going to DIE?!

1. open the house and let it drop to freezing too. |

Sorry, not much kills the buggers - although hand picking and dropping them in bottle of rubbing alcohol will, eventually.

2. You forgot the part about taking the tick-laden alcohol outside and |
|
throwing a match in it, then running like hell.
Now, THAT might kill the nasty little blood suckers.

4. Thinking of fleas, we're lucky not to have carpet. But ticks don't care |
|
about carpet. I imagine they'll sit stupidly on the same tiny speck of woodgrain until some poor unsuspecting cat lays down there in the dead of winter, and then we're off and running.
Definitely NOT one of my favorite parts about living out here.

3. Haven't noticed any ticks here on my boat in the Keys. |
|
But the sharks are really bad tonight, especially since I've been tossing turkey bones over the sides for the past half hour. Hungry buggers!

6. They love turkey, chicken, just about anything with bones. |
|
They're not around in the daytime, but at night the water is full of smaller sharks. We're on the bayside and this is their nursery.
No, I don't think they care much for nuts. :)
