Attn: Harry Potter fans!
Edited on Fri Nov-24-06 06:45 AM by Hell Hath No Fury
Mugglenet has the new teaser trailer for "HP:OOTP" up!

Some of what we get to see:

Sirius at Grimauldi Place
Harry in legimancy (sp.) lessons
Harry & Cho's smooch
Dolores Umbridge under attack
Bellatrix
The flight through London

My one note of sadness: all the guys have lost the hip look and are back to short, fairly dorky-looking hair.

Check it out at http://www.mugglenet.com

6. I can't wait for...
the full length trailer. I think casting Imelda Staunton as Dolores Umbridge was fucking BRILLIANT! She is going to be amazing. :)

3. Saw the trailer 2 weeks ago...
But hopefully it'll be a nice movie and make up a little for the fourth movie.

4. I thought "GOF" was okay...
Edited on Fri Nov-24-06 11:14 AM by Hell Hath No Fury
but felt it was edited poorly for pacing -- especially the last half hour or so. I though the one thing he got really right was the adolescent experience -- hese kids are wizards fighting the Dark Lord, but they still have to figure out the boy/girl thing. My favorite by far has been "POA" -- I thought Cuaron brought something dark, funny, and mature to the film. I know very little about the director for "OOP", so this will be a new experience.

I have heard that Cuaron is considering directing another of the films -- I would be very happy with that.

8. Agreed about the editing, but I did think they handled *SPOILER*
The graveyard scene quite well -- especially the suddenness and dirtiness of Cedric's death. It wasn't a Hollywood death. It was mean and senseless,a nd I'm glad they did it like that.

9. POA was the best book - they had the best material to work with IMO
Also re: pacing and editing for GOF - that book was just too damned long to get into one two-hour movie. There was no good way to do it.

14. ME too! I loved Cuaron as director!
I tought there were some dead seconds in line delivery in the early part of GoF, also.

13. Thank you so much! Too bad about the kids losing the hip look.
Fred and George especially. Those two were gorgeous in HP III and HP IV.

15. I was sitting behind two girls...
in the theatre I saw "POA", and when the twins showed up, one turned to the other and said, "When did they get so hot looking!". :D

I have to agree, the twins with longer hair were VERY cute! Have you seen then with their natural dark brown hair?? Even yummier.

16. Harry Potter and the Barber of Arthur Anderson
Wow. Those haircuts look awful. The Weasley twins have republican-wife bubble bobs. :(
