I just got rejected by a girl I wasn't that crazy for in the first place
And I'll be damned, it still hurts!!

I don't know why I care so much, I probably wouldn't have even pursued her further, but she cut me off before I could her!! The nerve :p

Rejection always hurts......

Because when you offer yourself as a potential date or whatever to someone, that makes you vulnerable.

And that vulnerability leaves you open to pain......

I'm sorry.......

Of course, being open to emotion that way also makes you vulnerable to joy.......:hug:

I've lived awhile, and I know a fair amount about pain....BTDT, if you will...

Whenever I can help someone who's hurting......I will do it....

There is enough pain in this life already IMHO....and not nearly enough joy!
