1. So wacky and zany. He jumps around and pulls faces.
How could he not be a comedic genius?

16. Everyone associated with that abomination jumped the shark...
Linklater, White, O'Rourke, Black, Sedaris... all of the "edgy artists" who contributed to that formulaic piece of shit proved themselves to be nothing but payday whores. Fuck them and their alleged hipness.

18. Rock is dead.

It died the moment it became necessary for fat 40-something "comedians" to explain its meaning to you.

4. I dunno whether he is...
...but Tenacious D was pure genius. My wife is even more eager than I to see the movie.

Please let it be more like the HBO shorts than like the album.

6. Yeah I think he's funny as hell.
And I love the first Tenacious D album. I'm planning on getting the soundtrack to their movie, provided it was made by them.

and as about as talented.

I will leave my meaning to others.

9. With Kyle Gass: GENIUS. Without Kyle Gass: Eh.
His Tenacious D work is BRILLIANT, especially the live shows. Everything else he's done...didn't do much for me.

Met them after a show in Philadelphia when they were still just a "cult" band. Very nice guys. You've got to give Jack Black credit for sticking with the D after the success he's had in more mainstream films.

Of course, if it hadn't been for that show, I never would have found one of my favorite performers: Atom and His Package. He broke the band up (band in this case being himself and a Yamaha sequencer), but he wrote the greatest punk song EVER about the metric system.

15. Exactly, it would be like Cheech without Chong. Or Beavis without Butthead.
David Spade without Chris Farley. And so on and so on. Jack Black is pretty lame without KG.

12. we met him last summer in Santa Monica when they were filming
Pic of destiny, he was so incredibly nice to my daughter and he seemed exactly the same in person as he does in movies, very goofy and funny.

13. He's that fat kid you went to high school with who was so desperate...
to be be "liked", he would do anything. And who later went on to be the third funniest guy in the dorm.
Jack Black really really really really really really sucks.
