First class if the person thinks we'd be a match.
Round trip coach if anybody wants to visit a happy little Toad and see what scenic Minnesota is all about.

4. Senic Minnesota in January? |
|
:scared:
You might get more takers in the spring or summer hon. Minneapolis is nice, but somebody'd have to really like you to brave the snow.

5. I agree. January is not a month for a wintery vacation. |
|
Besides, we haven't heard much about the activities at Chez Hypnotoad.

7. I was in Washington,D.C. for a anti-protest in 2002 and that was cold. |
|
I loved to cold weather but I stayed cold the whole time.
The high was 20 during the day, at night I don't know what it was.

Gee, forgive me if that doesn't sound like a Southerner's idea of a vacation! :scared: Maybe some Eskimo girl will take you up on it. :-)

10. Hypno, I don't think buying tickets will help the I just got out of debt. |
|
And honestly, Minnesota in January? Maine is bad enough, but every winter when I see that dark blue patch on the weather map dipping way down low over the midwest, with that awful frozen lips blue color over MN, I'm glad I live in Maine.

13. Question: Do you live in a city? |
|
I picture you living in a city.
Can't imagine there's much to do in MN in the country in winter other than snowshoe.

14. outskirts of suburb... |
|
It has developed recently, but only via lots of mcmansions, overpriced condos built on a floodplain :dunce:, and strip malls.
I do go out and ask dumb questions to store clerks to try to strike up conversation or scope out how much they know for the empty sake of it, but anywhere remotely interesting is 40 miles away...
Time to move, I think.

I would be right at home, I live in floodplain.
Nothing but overpriced chipboard townhouses going up.
