There are two kinds of Welsh corgis: Pembrokes (like the picture, no tail) and Cardigans (a bit larger and with a tail).

They are wonderful dogs-- very smart and easily trained. Many people are familiar with the breed because the Queen of England has a whole pack of them. Hers don't seem very well socialized though, as they are "nippers"! LOL
