3. Nah, my niece and I put up Dad's 3-foot tree today. |
|
Well, she put about 7 ornaments on before she decided to focus on something else. 7 year olds are hard to keep busy. :hi:

One is all decorated...the other..not quite. But, I'm getting there! Garland on the staircase and over the mantel, etc. Tomorrow...outside the house! I'm really getting an early start this year.

9. I actually have some I made when I was little... |
|
but they are too big and heavy for the little 2 ft. artificial tree we are putting up this year. :(
I will hang them from tinsel strung across the fireplace instead. :)
but not till Dec. 1st, at least.

11. Ours is going up tomorrow |
|
We bought a bunch of silk flower leis, took them apart and restrung them into a flower garland. Then we have 250 cocktail umbrellas to stick on the tree. If it turns out ok I'll post a picture of it.

in knocking eveything off.
I will but stuff on the walls instead.

We're waiting until December. Probably a week or two before xmas. It makes it more special for us to keep the holiday limited to just part of the month it takes place.
We don't want to get burned out on xmas before the middle of December. :-)

19. I hear ya!! Usually Thanksgiving is closer to December than |
|
this year, or at it seems that way! But we always do it the day after Thanksgiving! Keep in mind, that my husband and I have only been married(close to) 5 years, so you know... We are trying to make it "tradition". I never get tired of any holiday, but my husband would totally agree with you there.

18. Nope. We put up two of three. The other will have to wait for tomorrow. |
|
I've also got most of the rest of the Christmas decor up, but we still have to clean up the boxes, the tissue paper and plastic bags I had stuff wrapped, and maybe rearrange a few things. I'm too tired to finish it all up tonight, though.

21. A lady at Lowe's today really worked hard at trying to get us to buy... |
|
inflatables for our yard.
All we asked for was a timer, LOL. We don't do inflatables for our yard, but she did try to convince us to change our minds.
