So Is Anyone Else Out There Going To Cheer For Oklahoma State
tomorrow?

I bleed BRIGHT ORANGE and will be cheering my Cowboys on against the EVIL Sooners!

Oklahoma State vs. University of Oklahoma on Saturday, the "Belam Series" in a state with little else to do but cheer on football (I can say that as a former resident who still loves Oklahoma despite the fact that when I moved away it went Republican!)

Texas lost today

Arkansas lost today

I'm trapped in the swamp with my inlaws but I'm eating good stuff!@

While some had leftover turkey sandwiches, we had Turkey/Sausage Gumbo!

Go OSU!!!!!

40. Hey, OSU Had Their Chance
couldn't convert to points

and what the heck is this first time on the 3 yard line and they go for the TD and don't get it. What about a field goal? That would have put some points on the board at least.

Then it would have been 3 points not 6 to overcome, they could have tied it with a second field goal.

Bad coaching.

7. I always want OSU to win
I graduate from college, met and married my husband, and had my first child in Stillwater. My parents wouldn't pay for me to finish college anywhere else, and I wasn't thrilled about having to go there, but once I was there I liked it and all in all it turned out well. I miss the Walk Around every fall.

I think it should be a really good game. I'm far from confident, but I'm not overly worried. I think OU is playing well and I hope they take care of business.

OSU has to win, if they don't OU goes to the Big 12 Championship game and not Texas. So the teasip fans will be cheering for OSU.

11. I'd rather OSU won that OU, but I really could care less.
I'm an OSU grad, former Cowboys fan through thick and thin, but after the last year or so, I'm pretty much done with OSU. Between having the "Poser-in-Chief" speak at graduation (after which I asked them to take my name off their alumni mailing list), the practical takeover of the school by Boone Pickens, and the whole "Athletic Complex" thing that robbed people of their homes and created a whole bucketload of ill will, I could care less.

Then to hear that it costs $80 for a student ticket for today's game--unbelievable.

The four years I spent in Stillwater were the best of my entire life, but that place doesn't exist any more. It makes me really sad.

16. I'm laughing a bit about TBoone. We could have been stuck with him
at TAMU. But instead we are stuck with a few of our own idiots, like Rick Perry, Claytie Williams, and the Bush Library.

my Dad is an OSU grad, taught school there for 20 some odd years at OSU

He is angry at them now for a lot of reasons and won't support them anymore

Me, my blood is orange, and I have faith that T Boone or not, OSU will return to greatness

24. but won't it be nice to see the rivalry renewed
OU-Nebraska in the Big 12 title game--it's hard to believe it hasn't happened yet in all the years of Big 12. Even though the Big 12 has diluted the rivalry, and even though there's been a bit of bad blood in the last couple of years, I still get excited whenever my Sooners play Nebraska :)

I'm just bitter about losing to Texas by 2 points in the last seconds of the game...and in Lincoln, no less.

But you're right, OU/NU would be fun as well

31. OSU sure started strong
but I guess the Sooner defense settled down after that. I think OSU needs to have a strong 3rd quarter, because their rushing defense is going to be worn out in the fourth quarter ...

27. That Arkansas game pissed me off.
I'm going to take down my Hog avatar.

Anyway, the hogs get the ball back, down by six, with about two minutes left to play. They put Casey Dick back in the game, (nevermind that he has harldly completed ANY passes the whole game), and, predictably, he serves up FOUR incomplete passes that look almost alike to lose the game.

It looked like a 7 year old playing Madden NFL.

How do you get the game on the line, then eschew the very thing that has got you there - the running game. Could they not have given at least ONE down to the tailbacks?
