commercials that make you laugh your ass off?
3 for me-

#1- the geico commercial where the squirrels hi-5 each other.
#2- the dodge nitro commercial where the car goes flying into the air after an attempt to jump-start
#3- RAC that has this guy go to the fridge, and about ten cubic yards of ice pours out, and he's flailing his arms about trying to hold it in.

yours?

2. I only saw it once
You're in this car factory where everything on an assembly line is going crazy and everybody is running around in a panic. The robotic arms are flying everywhere and one is spray painting a girl's name on one of the cars. Then you flash to a little girl in her room playing on her computer and you hear her mom in the background saying the same name that was being sprayed on the car, "time to turn off your computer and go to bed". The little girl had hacked into the auto assembly line computer and was playing and writing her name on the cars.

Something to do with network security software.

18. Peter Stormare is a freakin' genius
I wish he's make another hundred of those commercials, even though I'll never go near a VW again (not to buy anyway).

He was also the Russian cosmonaut in Armageddon:

"I do not take much pleasure being niegativ, but do you think this is looking good or what?"

Best line in the movie, IMO.

6. Dennis Hopper's Nike spots
Too lazy to find and post them but damn I miss the mid nineties when they were on the air constantly.

These are Bruce Smith's shoes. Do you know what Bruce Smith does in these shoes? Bad things man, bad things.

(Footage of Bruce Smith playing football)

Do you know what Bruce Smith would do if he found me messing with his shoes? Bad things man, bad things.

14. I'm sorry
but I just love the Caveman commercials by Geico. I mean that latest one that has the caveman on the moving sidewalk going to catch his flight...and he's carrying a WOODEN tennis racket. Ok, maybe it's a squash racket, but I think they were just carrying the joke deeper. i love it.

15. I remember one from several years ago...
It won a prize...

Two men in a lifeboat.......

Over several days...

You see the sun rise...and set ....

As they stare at each other.....

Finally, you see just one man...

And on the screen ...."Alka Seltzer....When you've eaten something you shouldn't have..."

:9

Oh Peg, you are making that up! How did I miss that? I like a lot of the old Alka Seltzer commercials: Man : "I can't believe I ate the whole thing". Woman: "You ate it Frank" (in a weary voice.) You know my eighth grade Spanish class did that for a skit. I can still say that whole commercial in Spanish.

16. Burger King's "I'm full of sit, you're full of sit, we're all full of sit".
I've only seen this once but it made me guffaw. It's for one of their latest artery clogging, cholesterol laden cow meat and mushroom concoctions. The gag was you had to sit down to eat it.

29. Canadian telecommunications company: "Stupid Ways to Save Money"
The most recent one features the family that's trying to share the same pair of eyeglasses. (And they're the really big, plastic-framed type that went out of fashion about 20 years ago, not even with the cool retro hornrims.) The mother says she needs them to drive, the father claims he has a Powerpoint presentation at work, and then the teenaged daughter comes along and trumps them all with her piano lesson.

And then the announcer chimes in with the information that bundling your services is a much better way to save money, etc.

32. "Move over bacon!"
This was one from my childhood. I think the product was Sizzlean. The kids would say "Move over bacon!" and the bacon would float away and be replaced by Sizzlean. My sister and I busted up laughing during that one. We were probably under 10 years old at the time.

A funny current one is the "offended caveman" series from Geico.

33. I hate to admit it, but the VOLVO commercial with the little girk talking...
and talking and talking and talking and talking.

"...and its head is tiny...and I don't know what it is..."

Don't know why, but I still get a huge grin after seeing it a hundred times.
