Lots of things have started going missing around here lately...
My favorite ring, a five dollar bill I left on the bathroom cabinet, and now my favorite DVD, Love Actually. I'm starting to get pissed off. I don't want to think that someone is coming in here while we're sleeping or while we're at work, but I'm stating to wonder. I'm freaked out. I've looked EVERYWHERE. I can't find anything!

3. The Colin Firth one is my favorite.
And I love the body double arc as well. Unfortunately for the TV version, they edited it out. And that makes me sad because Martin Freeman is one of my favorite actors, and they edited out the character who goes to America in search of a girlfriend. And even Bill Nighy's character is greatly different than the one in the uncut version. Dang it now I want to watch the entire thing. This sucks.

6. Where do you live and does anyone live with you?
Do you lock the door when you leave? Things just don't go missing by themselves.

8. We live in an apartment building.
We always lock the door. There are several people in the building who have master keys. I'm concerned with this.

9. As you go out to work in the morning grab box of baking soda
Reach behind the door as you slowly close it with other hand. The had behind door until it closes is holding a BIG open box of baking soda, pouring liberally as you pull the door shut. If you have no tell-tale footprints when you get home, vacuum and your carpet is fresh. Get another box and repeat next day (Hint- they have large bags at COSTCO for very little money)

I did that and the maintenance guy with the master key and a fondness for mussing women's lingerie in their apartments NEVER bothered me again. Leaving footprints once was enough for him to know he was busted.

My gentleman friend at the time also pulled the guy aside and told him my ex was hanging around bothering me, so he taught me how to shoot a gun.

Life was fine after that.
