Saturday Night Mildly Embarassing Confessions Thread
I sing in the car. Not just a little bit. I throw my heart into ballads and growl the lyrics of punk songs.

I would never do that outside of the privacy of my little wagon.

You?

2. Me too.
I do when I'm home alone too.

In my head I am fabulous singer, who can sing any song perfectly. In the real world I sound like a dying cat. :D

3. I sing, and not just in the car, but at home too (when I'm by myself).
And, I dance, to all different kinds of music.

4. I talk to myself in the car.
Not little comments. Lengthy, two-sided conversations. Nowadays, with everyone having to go Bluetooth headsets with their cell phones, I look much less insane than I did in the past.

5. I'll confess to that...
And did it when the kids were younger, before they made Daddy stop. (I'm a bass, and needless to say there hasn't been much music with good bass parts since the Righteous Brothers.)

7. I do that sometimes. Tuesday I went to New Hampshire for work

It was a 4 hour ride home and I started getting a little sleepy towards the end. I popped in a CD I hadn't listened to in a while (Operation Ivy). I screamed along like a nutjob for the last hour of my ride. It helped wake me up :)

I do have a embarrassing incident from last night, but it went way beyond mildly embarrassing so I think I'll skip that confession

9. Screaming like a nutjob is the best way to stay awake on a long drive alone.
I did much the same on the way back from Portland, because that is one long boring drive and I was in the car alone from Ashland on.

12. Woohoo! I've done that too!
I was in orchestra when I was in school, and I always wanted to try conducting. Now I conduct my "invisible" symphony orchestra.

It's not a pleasant sound, either.

16. Okay, you LeftyKid and I can never be in the same car at once.
Actually, listening to LK scream along to RATM is funny as hell. And he knows that the F and MF words are for big people.

20. I sing in the car whether I'm alone or not. My son (age 19)
just looks at me and says: "Is there a song you don't know?"

22. Usually the only time I sing by myself out loud is when I'm sailing.
I talk to myself sometimes when I'm sailing alone, too.

I gotta figure out why the only time I do that is when I'm sailing alone.

Ideas, anyone?
