Anyone else hate Christmas music?

It's everywhere. On phone lines, at malls, you just cant't escape it. And it's all crap! Can't we fight back somehow?

1. Some Christmas music, I love, others not so much.

Instrumental stuff is great. Six different versions of "All I Want for Christmas is You", sung by six different crappy artists, is not my idea of holiday cheer.

I hate working retail at this time of year.

2. I'm lucky this year...

i'm NOT working retail, and the music in the kitchen of the restaurant is "whatever's on the CD changer", which lately has been everything from Lynard Skynard to Godsmack.

Some holiday music is alright, but i get tired of the same thing day after day...

6. I don't mind the music itself

I just wish that we didn't have to hear 35 days of it.

One week of Christmas music is enough.

If all the stores played nothing but Beach Boys and Jan & Dean for 30 days before July 4, people would make a snit.
