Bill Hogan's goat was feeling fine. |
|
Ate three red shirts, right off the line. Bill took a stick. Gave him a whack. And tied him to the railroad track.
The whistle blew, the train grew nigh. Bill Hogan's goat was doomed to die.
He gave a groan of awful pain. Coughed up those shirts AND FLAGGED THE TRAIN!
OK, sing me one of YOUR camp songs.

5. OK, we got lousy transcribers in California, too. |

I was taught that version at Lair of the Golden Bear summer camp, a UC Alumni family camp in the fifties.
