We put up the Christmas tree tonight...Have you!?
Edited on Sun Nov-26-06 08:15 PM by YellowRubberDuckie

I especially like the blue lights, which you can't see because my flash is so freaking amazing, and yes, I'm obsessed with snowmen.
I've shown you mine, now show me yours!

3. I suggested it but DH says "next week" so it'll go up soon
but we did get this year's ornament at the Christmas Parade of Lights downtown last night :bounce:

and this year I have the perfect porch for luminarias so that'll be fun doing that too!

6. looks absolutely terrific!
It's like magic...the music, the decorations, the ornaments. It all grows over time.

You captured my heart...you're even using my orange extension cord! Just this picture brings back memories of an earlier Christmas in the first years with mrs wain.

Thanks.

:)

10. You're very welcome.
And the orange extension cord is temporary until I can go get one that blends with the floor.

18. Wouldn't be easier if we did the shopping?
Wouldn't the ball get in the way? Of course, the ball could mimick my checkbook if I wasn't careful; it'd bounce...

8. We were going to, but are waiting for Granddaughter to be here
It will go up tomorrow so she can help decorate it tomorrow evening. Now if we can just figure out a way to prevent kitty from tree climbing, we'll be all set.

You have a very pretty tree Duckie and I love those snowmen.

12. Get a spray bottle,
fill it with safe, clean, water, and when Kitty gets near the tree give her a little squirt. Harmless and very effective.

17. I'll put up my tree at the end of the week.
I'm too busy for the next few days to do it any sooner.
I can't wait to unwrap all the ornaments. I've been collecting them for the last 22 yrs so I have quite a pile and a tall 7' tree to put them on.
I use a LOT of mouse ornaments (of course!) :)

19. We have the tree from A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS
It comes packed in a little box that says "THIS TREE NEEDS YOU" and is packed with a single red ornament.

It's a very sweet little tree. I like the bigger ones, true, but using this tree means we don't have to rearrange all the furniture in the living room.

20. This same tree last year looked like the Charlie Brown tree.
It was really terrible looking. But I outdid myself, I think.
