Boy, my family is, well...unusual. At Thanksgiving, we had such visitors as: |
|
My cousin (remember, this is the Irish side of the family) who is always hanging out by the pool...he'll even stay there all winter if someone doesn't grab him and put him inside. That's right, Paddy O'Furniture.
Then, another cousin's son came by, but we didn't see him much. He's a high-school kid, and he was always outside smoking. You've probably heard of him: Nick O'Teen.
Of course, my female cousins are married to some interesting guys as well. One of them has a Hindu husband who she's probably going to divorce soon, because he's always at the horse races: Sumba D. Bettondebay.
We didn't even invite the Italian guy our other cousin is married to, not after what happened last time he came to a family picnic. Yes, it's not polite, but Sal Minella wasn't here. We thought it would be best for everyone if he wasn't around.
Finally, I got to meet the delightful new wife of one of my male cousins. She has a Greek mother and a Romanian father, and won a TON of spelling bees when she was in school. I had a lot of fun playing word games with Elemenope Cuaresti.
I was especially fun when someone spoke these people's names aloud.
A good time was had by all.

LOL!
These are wonderful!
Especially when spoken aloud!
Everyone who bypasses this thread is missing something wonderful, sweetie!

5. That was the one I thought it was least likely that people would get. Glad to hear |
