my oldest son's girlfriend said that my refrigerator looked like a Denny's bakery case (and it still does, only it's half pies instead of intact ones) and I haven't been able to motivate myself back into the kitchen to start my gingerbread house. I was supposed to make it on Saturday, but I put up the Christmas tree and then it was too late to start it. Then yesterday we decorated the Christmas tree and put up all the other stuff and then I had to find the lights for it and then it was too late to start it.

Today...I'm just putting it off. I've got all the stuff in the kitchen, I've just gotta go DO it. I need ice cream cones, though. And a tootsie roll. Just one. I don't want to buy a whole bag for just a single tootsie roll, and my kids ate all the ones in their Halloween bags.
