I am 1/8 Scottish and I had this idea that, since I'm about to be single again, I should try to - ahem - reconnect with my ancestors. I really don't care about the kilt; it's the accent that weakens my knees. I once had a Northern Irish boyfriend who would whisper to me in his brogue, "I love you, Pet". I'll never forget it :)
