If you could see for miles and miles . . . |
|
Would that be a good thing or a bad thing? Discuss

1. I can. At least to the south. Mountains and hills the other directions |
|
but even to the north I can see two or three miles from here.

Looking out my front windows, I see the Pacific...and that 'pacifies' me...the contrast between whatever petty annoyances I might be bothered by - and the vastness of the ocean - seems to be a beneficial balance. I am as guilty as anyone however - of often getting so distracted or angry at what we all encounter every day, that I forget to look out the window. :)

where I live you could see a tornado coming
used to live where you could see one coming
now too many hills, which help to deflect them and steer them a LITTLE, but if there is a big one, it won't care about little old hills in its way and you won't be able to see it until it is awful close.
Of course, one shouldn't be watching for it anyhow I suppose.
