TV Land Names TV Top 100 Catchphrases (Link To List Included)
<snip>

NEW YORK -- They're lines you've heard so many times you find yourself repeating them years later: Catchphrases have a way of working themselves into your vocabulary.

And now TV Land has come up with a list of the 100 best.

Some come from television's golden age, like "The Honeymooners"' Ralph Kramden telling Alice, "Baby, you're the greatest."

Plus, there's the daytime television call on to "Come on down!" on "The Price is Right." And there's the late night classic, "Here's Johnny!"

From primetime, there's "Doh!" from Homer Simpson on "The Simpson," "Aaay" from Fonzie on "Happy Days" and "Holy (whatever), Batman!" from Robin on "Batman."

Sitcoms have their share of catchphrases, including Fred Sanford clutching his heart, looking to the heavens, and telling his late wife, "Elizabeth, I'm coming!"

"Saturday Night Live" alone has six entries. There are also phrases from commercials, along with Walter Cronkite's "CBS Evening News" signoff, "And that's the way it is."

The network will air a countdown special over five days in December.

6. Nnnnnnnnnnnnope
But you are on the right track-skit "comedy" (I wasn't much of a fan of this show on MTV and the annual special on CBS)

4. Fun list. No "I'm Gumby, Dammit!" or "Baseball been very very good to me"
But I'll live.
