Except block annoyance calls and/or text messages.

I've been getting weird and annoying text messages from someone who either refuses to believe that they have the wrong party, or is just getting a charge out of sending me cryptic messages- nothing offensive or threatening (or at least I don't think so). I get wrong number calls/texts a lot- maybe because my number has a lot of repeating digits. 90 percent of the time it's an honest mistake, the other party apologizes, and it's over. This latest offender has been sending strange messages for a few days now, and won't stop. So, I figure I'll just block him and be done with it (now that I've concluded he's not a friend playing a stupid joke). But NO! According to Verizon, they don't offer that service. I can block ALL texts (which I don't want to do), but that's about it.

Note to wireless providers: Enough with still cameras, video cameras, MP3 players, radios, salad-shooters, etc... Put some basic damn functionality to the freakin' things!!!! :grr:

<end rant>
