Frequent Fliers: dropping one leg of a journey?
I'm headed up to see my parents on their frequent flier miles in December; I've got one short leg at the beginning of the flight (RT) I was thinking about driving to visit friends.

Can I just pick up my flight at the major hub? Or do I need to tell the airline I won't be at the podunk airport?
