Regulators Investigating Insider Trading in Terror Futures Market

Washington, DC - In yet another financial scandal involving insider trading, it was announced today that the Commodities Futures Trading Commission is investigating possible insider trading on the Pentagon’s short-lived "terror futures" market. The regulator’s suspicions were aroused by what appeared to be an unusual amount of money being bet on long-shot opportunities through the Grand Cayman Brass Plaque on a Grass Shack Savings & Loan Association. Further investigation disclosed that the directors of the terror futures market exchange, Vice-president Dick Cheney, Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, Admiral John Poindexter, and retired executives Kenneth Lay, Bernard Ebbers, and Martha Stewart, were all members of a syndicate funneling substantial amounts of money to the same off-shore financial institution.
