Could use a smoke right now......
it's been 576 days since I've had one, but d*mn I could use a drag right now. Feeling anxious for some reason......holidays I guess.

2. The cravings do come around
but they'll pass on if you don't feed them.

3. My friend quit heroin and MDMA.
Went to extensive rehab and has been clean for three years.

Guess which habit he STILL cannot quit.

My other friend quit 3 years ago and STILL has slight cravings after a few beers or some stress.

See, it's examples like yours, my grandmother's, my friends, etc, that I cannot tell my kid enough to never start cigarettes. It's simply not worth it. $1000 a year to die slowly.

5. I feel that. And I don't think it's the holidays.

Normally, I save these posts for the Astrology forum, but--I've been having a not-so-great feeling about...something ever since we hit November. At first, I convinced myself that it was just SAD or I wasn't getting enough vitamins or I was just worried about the future generally, but--I am having a massive panic attack right now about not much of anything. Watch the headlines tomorrow; it could get weird.

ETA: And congratulations on remaining nicotine free, which I hope you continue to do, even if bad stuff happens tomorrow.
