Well, I finally did it

I lit my pilot light.

I had been putting it off for as long as possible but today it was just.too.cold.

When the gas bill comes due next month, I will regret it. :(

1. I did that Nov. 1st

in anticpation of the cold temps. I wanted to make sure the heater was working before I really needed it. I set the thermostat for 60°. Today is the first day the heater has kicked on.

It was sleeting this morning when I woke up. I hate winter. :cry:

2. I like winter

When I am inside and warm.

But the gas bills do indeed suck. Oh well, at least I saved a little extra money for buying xmas prezzies.

3. I don't like it at all

The gas bills don't bother me, mine are always cheaper than the electric I use for the AC during summer.

I just dislike the lack of sunshine & being cooped up in the house for days during winter. It's so boring.

4. I can dig it

Me, I'm an inside gal. I step out for the occasional drink of sunshine. I will say that I do not drive so I walk to get around. Thank goodness the grocery store is only two blocks away. :)
