What should I get my mom for Christmas
She's the "oh anything you get me is wonderful" type and I truly think that even if I don't get her anything she wouldn't mind because she only gets to see me once a year (and my mere presence is a gift alone :P ). Of course I'm not going to do that so does anybody have any gift ideas. She's only 42 so no Senior Citizen bus trips or early bird special gift certificates...lol. But I'm looking somewhere in the 30-40 dollar range.

3. My Mom's the same way, although she's almost 70 now
Thing is, she's NOTHING like a 70-year-old and I get the same thing... "anything you get is just wonderful" or " don't buy me anything, spend your money on yourself" ..... arggghhh... :P

4. I know it's infuriating!
Surely there must be a sweater or a pair of earrings out there that they want, but no...mothers must feed us the same line every year. I suppose it's better than having a mother who returns every gift you give her.

13. That's a nice "from the heart" idea
If I have the time I could definitely compile a bunch of her favorite songs

15. Here's the deal
Make it a real CD. Not one that's full of mp3s. That way mom can play it on almost any CD player and you only have to find ten good songs. :)

10. Does she use skin creme?
Do you think she might a luxurious skin creme, something so expensive that she wouldn't splurge on it for herself? You can't get her a wrong size in skin creme!

19. I'm getting my mom one of these...
http://tinyurl.com/k6el2

I'm getting her a medium, regular handles, zip top, red. She can carry her books to and from the library, tote around a knitting project, pack it as an overnight bag - whatever.

I have a set of these LLBean totes, and the medium zip top is just the best. These are clearly the best-made tote bags anywhere and very sturdy. I have used mine for a gym back, an all-purpose bag for work (magazines for downtime, snacks, change of clothes), to carry handheld games, books and magazines on a trip, toting Sunday school related items, and all sorts of other things.

Greatest bags ever.
