I have 8 years to go before I'm 50 and warp speed started for me in my 30s. I guess I'm in for it then, because since about the age of 35 it really picked up for me. I better start stopping to smell the roses a bit more for the next 8 years I guess.

6. Ditto except I was 27 and it didn't start until they slept through the night |
|
before that happened I was so sleep deprived that every second with my eyes open felt like a century.

and I have no idea where the last 14 years went. Sure, when I was 14 and in highschool, the clock ticked backwards, but it's just a blur now.
I hate time by the way. I long for a world without it.

It was starting to speed up a bit in my late 30s, but dang, this year steamrolled me. Summer came and went before I even noticed, and the holidays are going pffffft already--wait, Thanksgiving was last week? Really?

Some friends gathered for another purpose were toasting my birthday, and one of them asked how old I was. I answered, "Forty-two," and my immediate next thought was, "Wait a minute. How did I get to be this old?"

10. Sometimes I have to think a minute to remember how old I am. LOL. |
|
And to figure out my siblings' ages, I take my own age and add or subtract accordingly.
Time did speed up for me at about maybe 35, but at 50 it really went into passing gear. :-)
There are a thread about George Harrison dying 5 years ago. It can't be that long ago...but it is.
